Privacy policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
This policy explains how OpenDoor Intake ("we", "us") handles personal information when you visit this website or contact us. It covers this website only. When we provide our intake assistant to a law firm, the firm's own privacy notice explains how it uses its clients' information.
Who we are
OpenDoor Intake provides an AI intake assistant for UK family law firms. You can contact us about anything in this policy at zain@opendoorintake.co.uk.
What we collect
- If you email us: your name, email address, and anything you choose to include in your message.
- When you visit the site: our website host may keep short-lived technical records, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or contact forms. Apart from a small badge that our website host, Netlify, adds to the page, it doesn't load fonts or scripts from other companies.
How we use it
We use the information in your email to reply to you and, if you ask, to arrange a call or a trial. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We don't sell your information or use it for marketing you haven't asked for.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our business: our email provider (Google Workspace) and our website host (Netlify). They handle information on our behalf and only as we instruct.
How long we keep it
We keep emails for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any working relationship that follows, and then delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email zain@opendoorintake.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
